CCL Auto-Sleeve has built a solid reputation for technical innovation with in-house expertise. We work with your customers from the initial design stage of their shrink or stretch sleeve, right through to the finished sleeve, to ensure maximum brand impact and efficiency. Our Art Department can work with your design or designers to reach maximum effectiveness of our 10 color GRAVURE press, for premiere shrink sleeves, and our 8 colors UV FLEXO press for promotional & short run sleeves. Our 8 color CI FLEXO presses, for stretch sleeves, can be used to create endless opportunities of 4 color process, halftones, special colors and special effects. Our customers benefit from our 25+ years of in-house design, pre-press, printing and converting expertise for 360 degree, full body Shrink Sleeve and Stretch Sleeve labels. With our proprietary converting equipment we can and will exceed all your sleeve requirements.
Plate Making
CCL Auto-Sleeve's in house plate makers know the fine points of their craft and produce award winning printing with precise exposure of your plates.
Mounting
CCL Auto-Sleeve uses a micro-dot system for precision mounting and exact registration on every job.
Printing (8 & 10 Color)
CCL Auto-Sleeve has "Gravure", "UV Flexo", "CI Flexo" printing experience and it shows in every label. Our experienced Pressmen manipulate our state-of-the-art presses to produce printing that ranges from the finest screens to the most brilliant solids, even if they are both in the same label.
Conversion
CCL Auto-Sleeve’s engineering staff has designed our proprietary sleeve conversion machinery. This high speed equipment has aided our success in providing the most consistent and reliable sleeve’s in the marketplace today. Perforations, layflats, and seals are closely monitored for the success of every sleeve.
Initial Design
CCL Auto-Sleeve’s in-house art department has a prestigious reputation for designing labels that specialize in complex, traditional, and simple label designs. We use the latest hardware & software available, with our Macintosh based G-5's running OSX and the CS 2 software including Illustrator, Photoshop, and Freehand. We also have available G-3's running OS 9 with Illustrator, Freehand, Photoshop.
Deco Proofs
CCL Auto-Sleeve can provide low cost Deco proofs which mock up your bottle with your graphics, to represent every curve of the container. This proof is used to represent how the images are going to look after they shrink on your container. Deco proofs can be made on the actual label substrate whether it is PVC, OPS, or PET. The proofs can be used for sales samples, promotions, or photo shoots.
Film Negatives
Once the artwork is approved, CCL Auto-Sleeve’s Pre-Press specialists, with their state of the art output software, will ensure every detail is in place to guarantee a spectacular print job at the highest quality.
Data Transfers
Customer files can be sent via E-mail or CD. They should be Macintosh based programs:
- Illustrator: 8 thru CS-2.
- Photoshop: 7 thru CS-2.
- Freehand: 9.
- Quark files will be charged extra.
When sending by E-mail: Please include: High res images, Tiffs, Eps files, Embedded images & Fonts. If file is large please compress it using Stuffit.

When sending by CD: Same information as above as well as a file that has all fonts converted to paths .
